Recreating your world

Your situation is not unique. Give attention to God's word. You are transformed not by struggling or hustling. You are transformed through the renewing of your mind. Remember that nothing is final. Everything can and will change. You are a shining example of God's goodness and love. If you find yourself constantly trying to prove your worth to someone, you have already forgotten your value. There's more to you than meets the eyes. Refuse to live beneath your potential. Take off the limiting belief that has taken root in your mind. Learn to cultivate possibility thinking. Don't put yourself in a box because of a situation or someone. Nothing limits accomplishment like small thinking and nothing expands possibilities like thinking outside of the box. The possibilities in your life change when your perspective changes.

Tame the tongue

*LEARN TO TAME YOUR TONGUE ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! James 3:5 Learning to tame your tongue is very important. The tongue, as small as it is, can do the greatest good or harm depending on how you use it. While some have sadly talked themselves into trouble with their tongues, others have used theirs to chart their way to victory. Learn to use your tongue right by only speaking wholesome and blessed words. Fellowship with the Word regularly through your Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers for then, you’ll find that your words will “..be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one (Colossians 4:6).

Make the connection

*MAKE THE CONNECTION ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Hebrews 13:5-6 “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”” “I still feel the pain in my leg,” Della said to her cell leader just after the cell meeting. “Della, we just finished listening to Pastor’s message on healing. You should be confessing your healing instead of complaining. That’s how to respond to God’s word the right way.” Like Della, many people don’t respond the right way to the Word, thereby making it ineffective. Jesus scolded the Jews about this in Mark 7:13 NIV: “ …You nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” Can you imagine nullifying the Word of God, which created the universe? Sadly, that’s the way it is in the lives of many. The Word doesn’t work in their lives beca

Fiery Darts

*QUENCH ALL FIERY DARTS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME*  Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Ephesians 6:16 The title of today’s devotion isn’t talking about actual fires, no; “fiery darts” here refers to situations that are contrary to God’s Word for you. The Bible says such situations are fiery darts (Ephesians 6:16).  For example, if you felt a sudden pain in your body, that’s a fiery dart. What you should do immediately is come against it with faith- filled words and in the Name of Jesus. Remember, your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Hallelujah!

Walk in God's Favour

*WALK IN GOD’S FAVOUR EVERY DAY ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Psalm 102:13 NIV “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.” “Why was it only Noah and his family that were saved?” You’ve probably read the story of Noah and the flood and asked this question or pondered on it. The answer is simple; the Bible says in Genesis 6:8 AMPC, “But Noah found grace (favor) in the eyes of the Lord.” That’s why when God decided to destroy the earth by flood, He instructed Noah to build an ark to protect him from the deluge. As it rained, it didn’t matter the extent of the flood and the destruction it left in its wake for the people of the world; the same waters bore Noah’s ark up. He didn’t have to bother about the flood because he was in favour with God. Romans 5:17 lets us know that God has granted us abundance of grace, meaning we’re in favour with Him. Accordingly, you’re expected to live and walk with the consciousness of one who’s

Rhapsody for Teens 1 March 2022

*Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo* Pastor Chris  Tuesday, March 1 SHOW HIM YOUR LOVE  (Respond In Love To The Lord Jesus) TO THE BIBLE John 3:16 AMPC “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” LET’S TALK Walking in love is one of the trademarks of Christian maturity, and expressing and showing that love is very vital. The Word declares, “We love Him because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). That’s the right response to have toward God! You see, as a Christian, His love nature has been deposited in you, and you’re to express that love to the Lord daily. It’s vital you do! In Proverbs 23:26 (RSV), the Lord said, “My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.” That’s what He’s asking for; nothing could be better to give Him than your love. Your love for Him
