The Power of thought

 Thoughts are powerful,

Thoughts are pictures of the mind that have constructive or destructive possibilities and has power with emotion(they affect the emotions) thoughts a lot of times are created by you, they are deliberate. Until you change a man's thinking, you cannot change his life you cannot change his state and therefore cannot change his estate. Joshua6:1-2 (notice verse 2, when the lord said see)

"The extent of your vision is the boundary of your blessing", "how far your vision can go is how much you will posses".

What can you see, the lord can't do nothing nothing untill you see it, he can only do for you what you see, that's why he gave you a mind.

As a man thinks so is he, Your life goes the way your thought go.

Today you are exactly what your thought created yesterday.

In Philippians4:8 it reads:

Change the way you think by thinking the right thoughts saturate your world with positive thoughtsAnd now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.

Make the connection

*MAKE THE CONNECTION ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Hebrews 13:5-6 “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”” “I still feel the pain in my leg,” Della said to her cell leader just after the cell meeting. “Della, we just finished listening to Pastor’s message on healing. You should be confessing your healing instead of complaining. That’s how to respond to God’s word the right way.” Like Della, many people don’t respond the right way to the Word, thereby making it ineffective. Jesus scolded the Jews about this in Mark 7:13 NIV: “ …You nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” Can you imagine nullifying the Word of God, which created the universe? Sadly, that’s the way it is in the lives of many. The Word doesn’t work in th...

Walk in God's Favour

*WALK IN GOD’S FAVOUR EVERY DAY ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Psalm 102:13 NIV “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.” “Why was it only Noah and his family that were saved?” You’ve probably read the story of Noah and the flood and asked this question or pondered on it. The answer is simple; the Bible says in Genesis 6:8 AMPC, “But Noah found grace (favor) in the eyes of the Lord.” That’s why when God decided to destroy the earth by flood, He instructed Noah to build an ark to protect him from the deluge. As it rained, it didn’t matter the extent of the flood and the destruction it left in its wake for the people of the world; the same waters bore Noah’s ark up. He didn’t have to bother about the flood because he was in favour with God. Romans 5:17 lets us know that God has granted us abundance of grace, meaning we’re in favour with Him. Accordingly, you’re expected to live and walk with the consciousness of one w...

Tame the tongue

*LEARN TO TAME YOUR TONGUE ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! James 3:5 Learning to tame your tongue is very important. The tongue, as small as it is, can do the greatest good or harm depending on how you use it. While some have sadly talked themselves into trouble with their tongues, others have used theirs to chart their way to victory. Learn to use your tongue right by only speaking wholesome and blessed words. Fellowship with the Word regularly through your Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers for then, you’ll find that your words will “..be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one (Colossians 4:6).
