Goodies Bag (Salvation)

*GOODIES BAG* So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified. Acts 20:32 Salvation is like a bag full of delightful goodies. In it there’s, health, success, prosperity and so much more. The moment you were born-again, you received this bag of goodies, and everything in it is for you. Glory to God!  To enjoy all the delightful goodies salvation brings, keep meditating on and talking the Word. As you do, it will cause the blessings of salvation to be seen in your life and in all you do.

Recreating your world

Your situation is not unique. Give attention to God's word. You are transformed not by struggling or hustling. You are transformed through the renewing of your mind. Remember that nothing is final. Everything can and will change. You are a shining example of God's goodness and love. If you find yourself constantly trying to prove your worth to someone, you have already forgotten your value. There's more to you than meets the eyes. Refuse to live beneath your potential. Take off the limiting belief that has taken root in your mind. Learn to cultivate possibility thinking. Don't put yourself in a box because of a situation or someone. Nothing limits accomplishment like small thinking and nothing expands possibilities like thinking outside of the box. The possibilities in your life change when your perspective changes.

Tame the tongue

*LEARN TO TAME YOUR TONGUE ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things. See how great a forest a little fire kindles! James 3:5 Learning to tame your tongue is very important. The tongue, as small as it is, can do the greatest good or harm depending on how you use it. While some have sadly talked themselves into trouble with their tongues, others have used theirs to chart their way to victory. Learn to use your tongue right by only speaking wholesome and blessed words. Fellowship with the Word regularly through your Rhapsody of Realities for Early Readers for then, you’ll find that your words will “..be with grace, seasoned with salt, that you may know how you ought to answer each one (Colossians 4:6).

Make the connection

*MAKE THE CONNECTION ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Hebrews 13:5-6 “Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?”” “I still feel the pain in my leg,” Della said to her cell leader just after the cell meeting. “Della, we just finished listening to Pastor’s message on healing. You should be confessing your healing instead of complaining. That’s how to respond to God’s word the right way.” Like Della, many people don’t respond the right way to the Word, thereby making it ineffective. Jesus scolded the Jews about this in Mark 7:13 NIV: “ …You nullify the word of God by your tradition that you have handed down. And you do many things like that.” Can you imagine nullifying the Word of God, which created the universe? Sadly, that’s the way it is in the lives of many. The Word doesn’t work in their lives beca

Fiery Darts

*QUENCH ALL FIERY DARTS ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME*  Above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. Ephesians 6:16 The title of today’s devotion isn’t talking about actual fires, no; “fiery darts” here refers to situations that are contrary to God’s Word for you. The Bible says such situations are fiery darts (Ephesians 6:16).  For example, if you felt a sudden pain in your body, that’s a fiery dart. What you should do immediately is come against it with faith- filled words and in the Name of Jesus. Remember, your faith is the victory that overcomes the world. Hallelujah!

Walk in God's Favour

*WALK IN GOD’S FAVOUR EVERY DAY ~ PASTOR CHRIS OYAKHILOME* Psalm 102:13 NIV “You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favor to her; the appointed time has come.” “Why was it only Noah and his family that were saved?” You’ve probably read the story of Noah and the flood and asked this question or pondered on it. The answer is simple; the Bible says in Genesis 6:8 AMPC, “But Noah found grace (favor) in the eyes of the Lord.” That’s why when God decided to destroy the earth by flood, He instructed Noah to build an ark to protect him from the deluge. As it rained, it didn’t matter the extent of the flood and the destruction it left in its wake for the people of the world; the same waters bore Noah’s ark up. He didn’t have to bother about the flood because he was in favour with God. Romans 5:17 lets us know that God has granted us abundance of grace, meaning we’re in favour with Him. Accordingly, you’re expected to live and walk with the consciousness of one who’s

Rhapsody for Teens 1 March 2022

*Rhapsody Of Realities TeeVo* Pastor Chris  Tuesday, March 1 SHOW HIM YOUR LOVE  (Respond In Love To The Lord Jesus) TO THE BIBLE John 3:16 AMPC “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.” LET’S TALK Walking in love is one of the trademarks of Christian maturity, and expressing and showing that love is very vital. The Word declares, “We love Him because He first loved us” (1 John 4:19). That’s the right response to have toward God! You see, as a Christian, His love nature has been deposited in you, and you’re to express that love to the Lord daily. It’s vital you do! In Proverbs 23:26 (RSV), the Lord said, “My son, give me your heart, and let your eyes observe my ways.” That’s what He’s asking for; nothing could be better to give Him than your love. Your love for Him

Soul wining (Our Ministry)

*Soul Wining (A Ministry For Every Believer) ~ Pastor Chris Oyakhilome* *_"...God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation" (2 Corinthians 5:19)._* To a lot of people, the preaching of the gospel ought to be only from behind the pulpit. This is not true. God didn't assign the preaching of the gospel to a select few in the body of Christ. In fact, the office of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers is not to the world, but to the Church. The Bible says in Ephesians 4:11-12, *_"And he gave some, apostles; and some prophets; and some evangelists; and some pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry...."_* These five-fold ministry gifts in the Church are for the perfecting of the saints, so that the saints can do the work of the ministry. What is this work of the ministry? It is the preaching of the g

Prayer

James4:2, Isaiah59:16, Isaiah64:7,  Prayer is a heavenly spiritual function, that affects the spiritual. Through, prayer we inhales his life, we exhale our life when we pray. Luke11:13. What God will do through us if we would truly pray declaring his word said to us is huge. Acts1:14  Acts4:24-34 One of the reasons people don't prosper is because they don't pray, The seeds, tithe, offering won't produce results if you don't pray.  Relationship is key to prayer Luke11:6-8 How did Jesus pray Hebrews5:7 He prayed with full intensity.

Conditioning your spirit for excellence

Proverbs17:27 From today channel your thinking, focus your mind towards reproducing in yourself nothing short of excellence. You are gonna have to make up your mind for high ideals as a person. ✓And you can actually measure your progress over that period of time. Daniel5:12-14 Daniel6:3 You can channel that wisdom through the understanding of the word of God through working in the light of God's word from Sophia to Sunesis, Sunesis is the understanding of God's word, the way you view God's word your ability to comprehend it is Sunesis and when you translate that into action and it controls your mind, the way you live then you have the practicality of wisdom that is Phronesis.  James4:17

How to be a success for Jesus

Five important points to be a success for Jesus: 1. Choose to win. (If you are not prosperous you cannot help anybody else, Down people can't help down people, only up people can help down people come up.) There are so many poor people but If you say Lord I will like to help, then he will show up how to do it. It's important you start your life early. Deuteronomy30:19 2. Hook up to Christ. Get connected to divinity, hook up to his wisdom, hook up to his power. hook up to his inspiration.  3. Learn his language. Jesus talked differently, Study his word, learn his language of faith hope and love.  4. Go for him. Everywhere I go am his representative, when I show up Jesus shows up cause I come in his name. Jesus represent me before the father, I represent him before men. It's a partnership.  5. Win for him. I've got that mentality everything I get involved in am a success. I win all the time. When I speak God makes it happen.

How to Pray Effectively

Prayer of faith. (Mark 11:22-24). faith without works is dead?” (James 2:19-20). You can see that even the demons “believe”, but what distinguishes your “believing” as a child of God is your “works.” And this is the type of “believing” Jesus was referring to in Mark 11:23-24—the believing that acts and takes possession.  Believe that we receive right at the point of praying, and we would have our request.  This is faith! Faith means “I have it, though I may not see it with my physical eyes now.” Therefore, “to believe” in the context of Jesus‟ teaching in Mark 11:23-24 doesn‟t connote an individual living in the realm of hope; rather, it talks about a possessor—one who accepts that something “exists,” and thus “acts as such.”   Principles Of The Prayer Of Faith. 1. There Must Be A Specific Desire:  "Observe in the Scripture above that He didn‟t say, “Whosoever shall s

The Power of thought

Thoughts are powerful, Thoughts are pictures of the mind that have constructive or destructive possibilities and has power with emotion(they affect the emotions) thoughts a lot of times are created by you, they are deliberate. Until you change a man's thinking, you cannot change his life you cannot change his state and therefore cannot change his estate. Joshua6:1-2 (notice verse 2, when the lord said see) "The extent of your vision is the boundary of your blessing", "how far your vision can go is how much you will posses".  What can you see, the lord can't do nothing nothing untill you see it, he can only do for you what you see, that's why he gave you a mind. As a man thinks so is he, Your life goes the way your thought go. Today you are exactly what your thought created yesterday. In Philippians4:8 it reads: Change the way you think by thinking the right thoughts saturate your world with positive thoughtsAnd now, dear brothers and sisters, one final

Praying the Right Way

First thought to be established in your mind in other to pray effectively is this: God wants to hear and answer your prayers. If He had planned it any other way He would never have required you to pray. Reference: 2chronicles7:14. Jesus always had answered prayers and we are no different from this answered prayers. Many Christians don't spend enough time in studying the word, So they don't enjoy a personal relationship with God. Luke5:12( the leprous man didn't question the power of God; "doubt" he knew Jesus 'could' but didn't know if he 'would'.) A lot of people are like that, they don't know the will of God Philippians2:13; That desire for good things is a reflection of God's desire in us. No father wants his children to go through the same problem he went through. It doesn't matter your prayer needs don't make vain repetition. Expect Answers when you Pray: To have those answers consistently, you must pray according to God

The Ministry of the Holy Spirit in You

Christianity is living in partnership with God, it is the life of God in a human being. In Christianity we can only function through the Holy spirit. 7 things the Holy spirit will do for you: 1. He will bring you God's presence. 2. He will Teach you. 3. He will bring you ability to produce righteousness. 4. He will give you rest. 5. He will restore, renew and refresh you. Isaiah11:2-3 6. He will turn your wilderness into a fruitful place. Isaiah32:15. 7. He will bring excellence into your life. Daniel6:3 You have to acknowledge things the Holy spirit does in your life (Be thankful for the things the Holy spirit shows/does to you).

Live Your Best.

1Peter3:8-12 read in several traslations Three points from this verses: 1. Quit wanting to be somebody else (have value for yourself). 2. Love others as they are. 1Thessalonians4:11 3. Quit Judging other people. Proverbs11:13

Forgiveness and remission of sin

Forgiveness is to pardon, the record shows that your are guilty but, you've been forgiven and not punished, what Jesus gave to us is not forgiveness, there was an actual punishment for sin, Jesus was punished in your place. Luke24:46 reads: And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behooved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day. And remission of sin on the other hand is what Jesus did, in Matthew26:28 jesus said: For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. Remission is wiping out, blotting out as though it had never been while in forgiveness the record is there that yoy are the offender but no punishment, in remission the record is wiped out and that's what Jesus did for us when he died for our sins. And briefly i want you to understand that sin in the new testament is a personal thing, Romans14:22-23* Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that

What is Grace ?

Grace is the divine influences on the heart of a man that is reflected or expressed outwardly. Divine influence meaning divine impartation in the heart(spirit) of a man. When you receive God's word and injest it into your spirit, what it becomes is grace. When you get imparted with grace it changes how and what you do things.  Grace - greek Karis Grace here refers to the divine influence on the heart reflected in life, reflected on the outward expression. In other words it is the outworking of an inward influence, the divine influence in your heart. Divine that means it got to do with deity "God". So the Lord impresses upon your heart through his word and the Holy ghost. And whatever is deposited by that influence is seen on the outside.  The Grace of God cannot be seen until you see what it produces. When the divine influence works out within a man's spirit there are things that you see outwardly: 1. Acceptability. nature responds to you with working in your life.

Rhapsody 1 March 2022

*RHAPSODY OF REALITIES DAILY DEVOTIONAL *BELIEVE AND ACT ON TRUTH* Tuesday, March 1st . Pastor Chris _*And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free (John 8:32).*_ One day, a gentleman who had been diagnosed with tuberculosis came to see me. He had chest pains and coughed out blood. It was quite severe. He brought out the documents of the diagnosis to show me. Then I said to him, “Do you believe Christ lives in you?” He said, “Yes.” So, I said, “That means you can’t have tuberculosis, because the life of Christ in you isn’t susceptible to sickness, disease, or any form of infection.”  When he went back to the doctors, they confirmed he was tuberculosis negative. Hallelujah! The man was totally blown away. But the question is, why do people succumb to disease? It’s because they don’t know Jesus; they don’t know the truth. What about those who have heard the true Gospel about divine health and yet succumb to sickness or disease? It simply shows that they don’t truly be
